INDIA WINS BRONZE MEDAL IN WORLD HIPHOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP

Webdesk, TNI Mumbai, 14th August, 2015: A most talked about dance troupe from Nalasopara (a sleepy town within Mumbai Conurbation under Palghar district of Maharashtra) won the bronze medal for India in the World Hip Hop championship held at California (US) recently i.e. last Sunday night. The troupe came to the limelight when people learnt that recent super hit Varun Dhawan starred ABCD2 was actually the reel version of this Nalasopara Dance troup. The dance troupe known as Fictitious Kings United impressed the judges with its dances on South Indian soundtracks and Ganesh Visarjan themes. The eight young dancers of the troupe from the Vasai-Virar region competed with 49 countries, which sent a total of 3,500 dancers, to bring home the bronze medal in the adult category. The troupe members, all aged below 24, had earlier planned to compete in the 2016 edition. A major part of their travel money was sponsored by the Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who played the character of Mukund in ABCD2 (Anybody Can Dance 2). The film, released in June, which was a super hit and have done good business throughout the country.
